Oh come on, don't deny it. You always say the JP raptors look good. Also I do not think this was meant to be accurate anyways. After all Jurassic Park animals are all frogs |

Could the Toys be considered Canon, or the Baryonyx in JPB? |

Show me one post where you said anything truly bad about JP raptors other then the regular lack of feathers and broken wrists |

other than those and the size there is nothing to complain about but all of those are fairly serious issues |

Honestly, I don't mind pronated hands too much, but that's probably because broken wrists is a very mild mistake compared to the other stuff I've seen people do. *cough*Peters*cough* |

Even retrosaurs are considered ground breaking by peter's standards. But one must give him some credit for his creativity. |

some of his reconstructions are pretty good, just some are incredibly screwed up and these are the ones that get spread around |

I think the picture is the concept art of some JPOG modellers (check it out around here somewhere... on JP Legacy JPOG subforum)... The Baryonyx has a sail cos model modification at the time is limited to that level before it becomes buggy As for my irk of the day: why are there no konservat-laegerstatte from the latter Cretaceous? How much we could know about latter Cretaceous fauna if they are there... Edited by Even, Jul 22 2014, 10:37 PM.

Not really. That is the expanded universe, not canon. Canon would be, in order: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park: The Game, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III, Jurassic World, and any future sequels. |

People who think that prehistoric animals are somehow infinitely more dangerous than living ones, and panic at the idea of them being brought back from extinction. |

I really hate it when people imagine prehistory as a place where they could say"OMFG IS DAT A WHALE SIZED BUTTERFLY; YAY!" Really most people think that everything was whale sized |

Oh my god, that annoys me so much! It gets to the point where when a normal-sized bug shows up in a dinosaur movie, there are people I know who will complain that there weren't normal-sized bugs back then. WTF?? Even in the swamps of the Carboniferous, which are well-known for their mega-sized arthropods, normal-sized ones still friggin' existed! I know a good number of insectivorous animals that would starve if every arthropod in prehistory was elephant-sized.

carboniferous insects were at most about dog sized (in mass I mean, obviously some are longer) larger arthropods did exist (and still do in fact) but they are aquatic |
