If God had intended dinosaurs to have feathers he would have mentioned it in the bible.

He should have also mentioned that people would create something as annoying as the Chihuahua.

Unfortunately there are many creationists who use exactly that argument to support the ridiculous, unfounded notion that dinosaurs never existed.

And any research that diminishes the coolness of dinosaurs should be banned? Seriously? Expanding our knowledge of these animals is far more important than clinging to some monumental idiot's idea of what constitutes a "kewl" dinosaur.

How can stating what something is make it less cool? If you think something is not cool, it was never cool, a velociraptor was always a velociraptor, no matter how you thought it looked, telling you how it looked does not make it less cool, because it was never cooler in the first place, it was just it.

Exactly. Dinosaurs were what they were, and we as humans can't change that. We can only improve and alter our knowledge and perception of them as new fossil discoveries come to light, and if that means destroying a few childhoods: so be it!

Thing is, our discoveries are not making jurassic parks creatures less cool, because were are not changing how they look. There is no such thing as the jp dilo, raptor, or rex, so our view on them are not changing, since they are fantasy beasts.

Sure, the real life velociraptor does not look like the jp one, but we have known that since its fossils were first discovered, you were just to lazy to check the books, the fact that it has feathers is irrelevant, as the creature from the movie was never the actual animal, and as such, never will be.

Is that comment directed at me, or at the fanboys that we're complaining about? Because if it's at me, I already know that Jurassic Park was immensely inaccurate even for it's time. :P

I want a huge bucket movie company to make something like a good action/adventurous/sci-fi movie with dinosaurs with most up to date restoration. It would be something new and might raise up people's preference on accurated dinosaurs. Adding feather and more accurated behavior sure are not something too hard for them to do. But why don't no one do? They think retrosaur will make more money?

Seriously, wouldn't it be cool if there is a movie that huge Dromaeosaurs with proper feather stalking the adventurers like tiger and isn't the ninja Hadrosaur hunter.

Surprisingly creationists (like myself) do believe that dinosaurs existed. The only thing that separates us is how dinosaurs came to be and how they died out.

If you are a creationist, you would probably want the dignity, as little as there is in it, of being separated from the rest, as while creationism is universally stupid, the stupid can be slightly mitigated(A young earth creationist is dumb, but a young earth creationist who does not even believe in dinosaurs is even dumber).

You know, I would really love to just leave the creationists alone, they are so infuriating to talk to, I do not want to waste my time, sadly, they are a threat to education and science, and thus, by extension, our entire future, so they really must be stamped out.
