What annoys you about paleontology?; Rant on about moronic theories, complaints, or just animals that annoy you.

I'm not slow! That's just my moe!

I've been lucky enough not to be attacked by one, I mean, I've been bitten by accident while feeding them but thats different, when properly tame they can be very docile animals
Canada geese however, even the most tame, are prone to mood-swings and love to gang up on people

I was young, and me and my dad were walking around a lake.

It was spring.

Swan + lake + spring = no good.

I've never gotten attacked by any tropical pet birds
I did see a toco toucan snatch a finch out of the air once, swallowed it whole

No, I'm not sure about how to draw, colour and such some of the animals I'm making. Sometimes I can't pick between two possible concepts of mine, and other times I cannot think of anything that hasn't been used yet (TiN Torosaurus is basically the same as the one from WWD except for more noticeable sexual dimorphism which is enormously speculative/artistic license).

basing them on extant species tends to work well (just not to directly or it can come off as cheesy)
combining several extant animals colour palettes tends to work well

I suggest doing lesser known Bird species, They end up having very Interesting Patterns.

I think those two look pretty cool, a good concept for comedic villain. :P

But are they really called Sarcosuchus?

Indeed, despite looking more like a giant hybrid between Kaprosuchus and Longisquama.
