What annoys you about paleontology?; Rant on about moronic theories, complaints, or just animals that annoy you.

It does have a suspiciously similar colour scheme, doesn't it. It also resembles the Prehistoric Park T. rex to some extent.

Looking back, this book kinda did suck. :P

Found a Love in the Time of the Chasmosaurs review (kinda) of the book.

EDIT:
More blog posts.

*Is embarrassed for saying the book wasn't that bad, as it all comes back to me about how horrible it truly was*

Also, slightly off-topic, but Love in the Time of the Chasmosaurs is a pretty epic blog IMO.

New discoveries annoy me. When we think we know something about how a certain dinosaur live/looked somebody find something that could potentially change everything. Quills and feathers are just two of theses things. Although it can still exciting to discover something new.

Chances are we're never going to know everything about how dinosaurs looked or lived. I've learned to get used to that. :P

Those are supposed to be Quetzalcoatlus? Shameful, they look more like gigantic mutant Pteranodons than anything. :P

People who think that all dinosaurs lived in the same place at the same time, which is pretty much the majority of people I know in real life.

Sorry about the double post, but journalists who report on paleontology discoveries without having any real knowledge on the subject really annoy me. Ok, so you don't know much about prehistoric life. That's fine, but you should really stick to reporting things that are more up your alley!

I know this is a triple post, but you guys don't post often enough so... :P

Anyway, the amount of people on the internet who misspell Carnotaurus as "Carnosaurus", "Carnotosaurus", "Carnatosaurus", or some variation thereof bug me a lot more than they should. It's Carno-friggin'-TAURUS! How hard is it to understand that there's no "saurus" in there anywhere?? >_<

Also the fact that many TSL players misidentify it as a T. rex. What kind of T. rex has brow horns or a short, puggish snout?

You are ignoring the shockingly large amount of people who can not tell the difference between ceratosaurus and carnotaurus by virtue of A. Their names starting with C, and B. Them having horns.

I mean, how does one tell the difference between a giraffe and gazelle? They both start with G and have hooves!
