Pterodactyl is an incorrect word for Pterosaurs.
this is another thing that annoys me, I call a pteranodon a pterodactyl and people try to seem all smart saying "pterodactyls don't exist, its a pterosaur"

this isn't exact, but heres the just of how it works;
pterodactyl = short tailed pterosaur
I believe the group is called Pterodactyloidea not Pterodactyl.
There is a Pterodactylus and Pterodactyloids but not an exact Pterodactyl.

Quite honestly, besides its size, Megalodon isn't interesting in the slightest. It's a scaled up white shark for the most part, which is already the most uninteresting shark in existence. :P

I hate how little effort is sometimes put into scientific names. You get the chance to name a dinosaur, so you name it Gasosaurus. ಠ_ಠ

It's certainly an impressive creature, but yeah, not very interesting. Unfortunately, many people rate how impressive an extinct animal is over how interesting it is.

"Pterodactyl" is also a common term for pterodactyloid pterosaurs, though it can also be used to refer to Pterodactylus specifically or (incorrectly) to pterosaurs in general.

Gasosaurus (Chinese: 气龙属) was a tetanuran dinosaur discovered in Dashanpu, China. The scientific name, meaning "Gas Lizard", honours the gasoline company that found the Dashanpu fossil quarry in Sichuan Province, now named as the Lower Shaximiao Formation.

I disagree:

But yeah, Megalodon is simply an oversized Dead one, so not much interesting.

I do not really think putting a land based animal in the middle of the ocean is a fair fight no matter what, I mean, that rex would quickly die on its own, let alone by a megalodon.

If you put a megalodon in the middle of a forest, I doubt it would fare much better. But yeah, these fights are stupid.
