It's also annoying when you here about size estimates from a rather trustworthy site, but when you try to find the paper were it got the info from it ends up being from a (scientific) book that seems to have disappeared from the face of the planet. Been happening to me with Dimetrodon angelensis, which apparently had a 58 cm skull, which is absolutely HUGE.

People who think dinosaurs were the first life-forms on Earth (yes, I have legitimately met people who believe this).

Where the f**k do these people think dinosaurs came from if that's the case?? Advanced multicellular organisms like dinosaurs aren't just going to appear out of thin air!

With Banjo do you mean Australovenator wintonensis? What's the story of this dinosaur - did the public also have to wait for long time to get a scientific paper of this dinosaur? (I don't know much about australian dinosaurs so now I'm a little bit confused about BANJO xD )

Yeah.

See, this undescribed metatarsal from Australia was just lying around in some museum for over 20 years before they dug up Banjo's complete limbs and actually confirmed the foot of the "Polar Allosaur" of WWD to be the Megaraptorid we know today.

It took them over 20 years to even look at it.

Then again, some people think that there is a magical man in the sky who made everything.

So your making fun of other peoples beliefs(including mine) Nomis. It kind of sounds like your making fun of Christianity.

That was directed at all religions who believe in an omnipotent diety. (It's okay Christianity is not that special)

Plus I have the right to say so just as most Christians have the right to tell me to kill myself. Trust me what I just said is nothing compared to what most Christians throw at non-believers. (This was not directed at anybody on the forum)

You should at least go take that to the atheist hangout. I know plenty of Christians would be offended by that.
