He was upset and said, Deinonychus can´t have feathers because it doesn´t look scary with feathers. >_<

As a side note, animals don't have to look scary, they're not movie monsters. If he can't get over that fact, well, his own problem.

Show your brother a picture of a Cassowary kicking a man, and tell him it's a bird.

Pick a god and pray!

I know this is really different than most things in this topic; but what rustles my jimmies a lot, as a loyal Jurassic Park fan since I was a tot, is the fact that some paleonerds and even some credible paleontologists complain about Jurassic World's inaccuracies. I mean, Jesus Christ, it's not meant to be accurate. It would ruin continuity even worse than Jurassic Park III if the raptors suddenly shrunk and sprouted plumage. Jurassic Park was mostly accurate for it's time; they attempted to make it as realistic as they could (atleast to my understanding.) But what people don't get is that Jurassic World is a sequel! Not a remake, a sequel; following the old universe and continuity. Sure, a remake would be a different story, but for God's sake, this is Jurassic Park; not some documentary.

Now, for some typical PalaeoFail, er, fails.

There isn't a single one of these 5 statements that's factual. Do these people really not think SOMEONE would've disproved the existence of dinosaurs by now in the 150+ years we've been studying them?

Because some people make big money from doing this.

Well, obviously they wouldn't be able to find a credible paleontologist who would say such things, so they went with the closest they could find. Pathetic, really.

I just showed him, with some nice hunting eagle pictures.
He thought I joked....

If that's from someone outside paleo community then it's a honest mistake, but if someone from within gifted me that, I'd safely assume they hate me.

Speaking of which, I'm sick of all the claims by YECs that Biblical creatures like the Leviathan and Behemoth are dinosaurs. They're not, ok? Non-avian dinosaurs were extinct for millions of years by the time those stories were written, accept it and move on with your lives.
