Sadly, this is in the "non-fiction" section at my school library.

It makes me wonder, what's the stance on animals that procreate by extracting both the eggs and the sperm outside their bodies for the former to be fertilized?

More OT: Sheer fact that I like Princeton Field Guide so much for the amount of info I got off of it, yet it is so full of shrink-wrapping and genus/species lumping that I can't open it without raging inside a little.

Considering that in most species that reproduce externally a lot of eggs and sperm are lost without beign fertilized I think that it would be considered as a sinful reproductive system...

Gee, God loved to make a lot of "unclean" animals. xD

Unless you see that as a consequence of our original sin that also corrupted nature.

That was like my favourite book when I was like 14 and didn't yet know what shrink-wrapping was. I still noticed the genus-lumping though. :P

That book also has disgraceful scaly/naked Therizonosaurus.

It also had scaly tyrannosaurids, though I guess that was acceptable for 2009.

I am annoyed, when people say that Archeopteryx is a bird. Not every animal with feathers must be a bird!
