There'd have to be a reason for it to go bald though. Evolutionary changes don't just happen because they can.
One word to think about here:

Thalassocnus.

I recently played Jurassic Park: The Game.
First everything was peaceful, then, I was killed.
By that:
Spoiler: click to toggle

That was more shocking than all innaccurate theropods together.
I´m so annoyed when people still keep thinking that Triceratops is a juvenille Torosaurus....
Next time everyone will think that Einiosaurus is a juvenille Diabloceratops, I guess....

Well Jack Horner was the Paleontologicall advisor of the original Jurassic Park films...

I found it strange that he hasn't claimed yet that the DD Ceratopsian was Triceratops and that Eotriceratops was an old Triceratops...

DD Ceratopsian was Triceratops
This is actually a reasonable assumption.

If anything the skull seems more similar to Torosaurus...

So yeah for Jack Horner that would have sense I guess, since for him both DD Ceratopsian and Torosaurus are Triceratops...

There have always been dinosaurs bigger than T. rex, some of them were even discovered earlier. :P

Sorry about the double post, but the fact that Wikipedia still treats Ibrahim's Spino as a possible chimera rather grinds my gears. Just goes to show that Wikipedia will be Wikipedia.

Well my English teacher thinks that Megalodon is still out there and that it is the astonishing length of 50 feet long!! The whole class looked toward me for an opinion since I'm the "animal freak", and I said and qoute "I'm skeptical". So after class I dropped a note on the teacher's desk telling her to go look up Livyatan, if she thought that about Megalodon I thought she minus well know about Livyatan. And we got into the conversation where I learned that about her because we were reading an article about cryptids. Ok so you don't beleive in Nessie but you beleive in a surviving Megalodon.

She's clearly one of the many who have been brainwashed by Discovery.
