I agree with your last statement but no one teaches little kids tigers eat grass or that bears weigh 2 tons. I would excuse the self awareness since it's a little kids cartoon but some of the things on the cartoon are just no. |

And to think this whole rant came from some dumb 11 year old and Stegoceratops. At least they didn't give Dilphosaurus a frill... |

Like what? All the things the poster pointed out are just details that are in no way significant for a 5 years old kid. What different does it make to say Jurassic Period instead of Early Jurassic? I'll be amazed if kids so young even know there was a Jurassic period at all. Most of the complains about the video are non sense. And is a cartoon. They are not meant to be accurate reconstructions. They are designed to caught the attention of little kids and for them to find them amusing enough so they grow an interest in dinosaurs. The style of the cartoon is what it is and is not meant to be a scientific reconstruction. So leave your complains for depictions that are meant to be scientific and are actually wrong. And to be on-topic. One thing that annoys me about paleontology: the paleonerds that complain about anything. |

on the topic of "I'm a Dinosaur" I think it would make a good introduction to Dinosauria (and some others that they state actually aren't dinosaurs). I think this along with Dinosaur Train are things that you could show your kids and give them a fairly accurate depiction of Dinosaurs, especially considering what usual reptilian horrors plague the media when it comes to dinosaurs. |

You don't know how much I can relate to this reaction. What annoys me about paleontology is that nearly (if not) all dinosaurs species are drawn / imagined covered in feathers. I don't much like 'fluffy' Ceratopsians (the kentrosaurus spikes-like feathers are fine though) and feathered Spinosauroidea, but I respect whoever likes them anyway. About dinosaurs, I really dislike the fact that some religious people (not all) blame paleontologists because "dinosaur are fake, they lied to everyone pretending that they existed just to earn money"... |

looking at this, perhaps the best way to appease us "paleonerds" is for us "paleonerds" to construct an accurate and semi speculative documentary /series geared towards "paleonerds" who are "picky" and want dinosaurs to be represented like actual animals on a side note: I like Ark survival evolved from a gameplay standpoint, but it pains me to see the dinos and the feathered dimorphodon. good thing mod support is planed

Can I just say that I found Ignacio's reaction to the comments made about I'm a Dinosaur really surprising and insulting. You could've expressed your views on our complaints without calling them "moronic". I may be nitpicky, but I'm not a moron! Ok, I'm done now. Sorry Furka. And in hindsight I do agree with the "just an introduction for little kids" thing, I just didn't have that in mind at the time I complained (even so, there are some legitimate mistakes that IMO they could've definitely avoided making if they did more research, but I guess I won't hold that against them). To be honest, I don't see any issue with the cartoon series "I'm dinosaur." I means, the only issue of that series in that it's mostly outdated or some wrong minor information which wouldn't hurt much if it's gonna mean to be a kid's show, not a dinosaur education for college students or something.... I am not talking about the cartoon concept of the series like eyes in the same side of head or wrong porportion. It's unlikely that it will make every kids think that dinosaur has halibut-liked face, right? |

Oh, that's nice. And to think here I was trying to be polite (even saying I agreed with you in hindsight), but I guess it was a wasted effort if you're just going to be like that. |
