No offence, but who really cares? They're still awesome animals! |

Oh I know, I just don't agree with the theory. You've gotta give sauropods credit for being some of the biggest and coolest animals ever. Like, whales are cool, but something like Diplodocus, is much more amazing IMO |

Oh, I thought you meant the theories that sauropods couldn't have reared on their hind legs, which have been lingering for a while. I guess you're talking about Brian Ford's "theory". Hopefully you'll take comfort in the fact that he's a total and complete crackpot and his "theories" are based on simply looking at sauropod pictures and whining about how they didn't look right on land. Studies on sauropod biomechanics have confirmed beyond doubt that they were indeed terrestrial animals. Heck, we've found sauropod trackways on dry land! |

Bald pterosaurs. Bald pterosaurs irritate me even more than bald raptors. I don't know why - they just look horrible portrayed scaly. |

Well, I thought the WWD pterosaurs still looked pretty good even with their non-floofiness, but I agree that they definitely would've looked better with pycnofibres. |

The fact people think fossils and dinosaurs in general are millions of years old. If the geological column in correct, why are fossils from all your supposed "time periods" at the top of the geologic column instead of down WAY lower. Why then are ammonites, and "Triassic" fish found at the top? And carbon dating is the most inaccurate dating system out there. Carbon is a living organism, so naturally, carbon found in fossils at the top would decompose faster than ones found lower due to the erosion and other things, so the ones found lower would have the appearance of a much older fossil. |

Please don't say "floofy" in association with dinosaurs or pterosaurs, it irks me. |

Why? At least the polar living one might be like that.

The fact that, confronted with even a little evidence let alone what we have, that anyone could think dinosaurs were any less than millions of years old. There is absolutely no evidence that they are anything but many millions of years old and there is no way they could be any less unless you just ignore evidence. Carbon is an element. Not a living organism. I really don't know what else to say here except that you are incorrect in your statements. And @Dr. Hax "Floofiness" in my opinion is almost synonymous with dinosaurs and pterosaurs. All pterosaurs and most dinosaurs had some degree, often a full covering, of "floofY" integument. |

Dude, just keep your beliefs to yourself. Frankly you're starting to offend me and presumably others as well. And about the geological column thing, erosion can expose fossils from lower levels which is why we find Paleozoic and Mesozoic fossils close to the top sometimes. You can keep your opinions, just quit shoving them in our faces! You don't see me telling you "Ha ha, evolution is right and your creation theory is wrong neener neener neener!" One thing though, explain to me how an ecosystem created within seven days and including every single species that ever existed could POSSIBLY function at all! |

Even assuming, as the Bible tells, that everything was an herbivore then, I don't honestly think every single species that has ever existed could fit on Earth. They would be packed together like sardines. |

I am sorry for offending anyone. I'm not trying to "shove my beliefs in your faces." I'm merely stating what I think is correct and what annoys me about paleontology from how I'VE been taught. You can believe what you believe, and I'll believe what I believe. I really don't want to upset anyone. I'll try to not mention it and offending anyone on the site is something I really don't want to do. I apologize. |
