I don't disagree with any of that, I just said what I said because it seemed like an appropriate response to the above post which kind of seemed to imply that JW was shite simply because it's inaccurate. |

no Jurassic world is not shite, its just a recent example of people paying lots of money to see inaccurate dinosaurs although from what I heard about the film didn't Wuu say something about all the dinosaurs being genetically altered to basically be theme park monsters, thus catering to the masses? Then going on to say that using the full DNA would make the dinosaurs very different. |

This. There's plenty of reasons to dislike JW, but the inaccurate dinos are not one. |

Yes, Wuu mention that they need to fill out the DNA with other animals to get the dinosaurs to live and to earn money, as the dinosaurs looks like the general public wants them too. |

I hate pop culture. and its sad that things like this ![]() are the face of dinos and prehistoric animals in pop culture when something like this ![]() is researched, accurate, and feels real I have to say it, it may sound insane, but I love dinosaurs and I'm glad they were destroyed, you may be asking why. simply so they didn't have to see themselves misrepresented and treated like some B movie monster material instead of real living breathing animals. just because their all dead doesn't mean they aren't there how would you react if this: ![]() was the definition of a polar bear in games, movies, pop culture? when this: ![]() is researched, accurate, and feels real and now that that is out my system, is there any excuse for misrepresenting animals in this fashion? 'becuz itzAuwsumbro!' and rather extremely annoying |

It irritates me when people claim their childhood has been ruined when they see modern reconstructions of iconic dinosaurs like T.rex, Velociraptor and Triceratops. It just seems like people can't accept the fact that those beloved creatures weren't what was thought of them and they are more "animal" and less "monster" than people would like. For example, I can understand and agree that Jurassic World dinosaurs shouldn't have feathers because of marketability and in-universe continuity (the character Dr. Wu clearly realizes the accuracy issue at some point in the movie), but I find sad that the outdated monsters from 20th century have become the only reference modern pop culture has of dinosaurs, and people refuse to like the new discoveries.

What annoys me about paleontology is when people, including scientist, exaggerate prehistoric animals. Creatures like Megalodon and T.rex, which is my personal fav, are made out to be these nearly invincible and unstoppable predators that kill everything in sight. No predator is invincible and prehistoric animals were no exception |

T-rex was considered "invincible" until JP3's Spino came in like "NOT TODAY, SUCKA". |
