I know, it would be just possible if they would have quills like psittacosaurus. But that is just speculation. |

I think TheToastinator is drawing a distinction between quills and actual feathers. |

Ok. BTW you don't think that I would say sauropods would have bird feathers? Because that would be crazy. Edited by Luca9108, Aug 20 2015, 04:31 PM.

Actually, Psittacosaurus was appearently fully fuzzy. We will see a described paper soon. Simple feathers don't preserve very well. And in at least some examples the scales come from dystal areas, so it'd be like finding a bird foot and assuming birds were scaly. |

This can be either a very exciting read, or loaded with bull***. Especially with THIS to refute... I look forward to reading it either way. Where'd you find out about it? Edited by Incinerox, Aug 20 2015, 06:28 PM.

This contradicts all our very direct evidence we have of this creature, specially since the same lime beds that present quills also show scales. EDIT: GODDAMNIT DG! Edited by Yi Qi, Aug 20 2015, 08:02 PM.

I hope not. This is worse that the Nazi having plans to clone dinosaurs cospiracy. Anyway Look at what I found on facebook ![]() Why? just why? but the worst part are the comments : there was one that said that all the prehistoric creatures still live today, and we can't just find them. But the worse of them was a comment of one that said that megalodon evolved into the great white shark. |

You forgot the people who use Coelacanths as example why megalodon is still alive. BTW I think they don't know that Coelacanths are a group of animals and not one species. Also if I am right the genus Latimeria isn't known from the Mesozoic. |

Anyone who says that dinosaurs are fake sickens me. Dinosaurs existed, just suck it up and live with it! I don't give a s**t if it interferes with your beliefs, I guess that just sucks for you. |
