And ironically: about that "T. rex didn't roar" comment, well, turns out it probably didn't (at least not in the mammalian fashion commonly depicted). I kind of doubt it chirped either though, if only because it's such a large animal.

(hope this doesn't count as a double post)![]() well, it has feathers..... but, 1. feather distribution is... ...disheartening 2. visible antorbital fenestre 3.tail is too long proportionally 4. the feathers are also too form fitting, ( in nature feathers change the outline of the animal) some of these problems are found in most of their animals |

While ARK's Giga is super oversized, that is an unofficial and EXTREMELY outdated scale chart. The current giga is only about 3/4 that size. Edited by DinoBear, Nov 10 2015, 10:55 PM.

The GamingBeaver and most of his fans still think Tylosaurus is the biggest Mosasaur..... And I for some reason still try to correct them. |

The galloping Tyrannosaurus from "The Good Dinosaur". I'm not gonna judge the whole movie because of that, but it's a needle in the eye. |

I wouldn't be too concerned on accuracy for The Good Dinosaur, it just looks to me like it's Pixar's homage to The Land Before Time. Plus I'm pretty sure fish don't have human eyes and human teeth. Generally most of Mesozoica's models (looking at you mohawk Diplodocus) UT2's models are pretty good though hope he can do more than the other modelers. |

The latter of which also has giraffe knees and elephant feet. Not gonna complain though since it's a Pixar movie. Artistic license and all that. Edited by CyborgIguana, Nov 12 2015, 01:59 PM.

Hey, at least they tried. which was more than you could say for Jurassic World. TGD is a show that's going to be watched by a lot of kids, little kids. Which means that the idea of feathers on dinosaurs, even preposterous-looking ones, is going to be ingrained in children's heads from a young age, and will hopefully carry on so a new generation will grow up with the idea of feathered dinosaurs. |

Fair enough. In any case, I love Pixar so much that I don't think the inaccuracies will bother me much when I go to see TGD. |
