Wow, with so many hideous reconstructions like that it's no wonder feathered dinosaurs are so despised among the public. :b

I SAW THAT GUY! In Sidney's Natural History Museum! Their Dinosaur part was somewhat unplausible, with a scaly T-Rex head, a video about Sidney in the Cretaceous which featured Dino Planet's Carcharodontosaurus hunting WWD's Laelynasauras, two big unfeathered Raptors and that King Kong-osaurus. But the Museum was epic, and surely one of the best I've been to.

When people give Nyctosaurus a webbed crest. It looks so ugly and its not even possible for it to fly with it. :/

I'm annoyed by the fact that most reconstructions of Quetzalcoatlus I've seen portray it as almost exactly the same as Pteranodon, just bigger with a longer neck. Most of the time it's illustrated with the same crest, same beak, etc.

So the winner for Locks of Love was an archaic representation of a Velociraptor? x_x

Related to the above, under-feathered raptors annoy me. I mean, if your raptors are just gonna have a tail fan, mohawk, and maybe a small fringe on their arms while still being scaly everywhere else then why bother giving them feathers at all. I actually prefer the completely scaly reconstructions to these half-plucked mutants. -.-

How Prehistoric Park is frequently included as part of the WWD canon. Yes, the two series bear some similarities and are both produced by Impossible Pictures, but Prehistoric Park isn't even BBC. Besides, the CGI models of the animals are completely different! Just compare the WWD T. rex with the PP T. rex and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Based on what? I believe there were two studies conducted on the matter, and both suggested either that a membrane on the crest would provide flight benefits, or that there would be no disadvantages. There are arguments to be made against said membrane, like the fact that there is no obvious support for such a structure like in other comparable animals, but as far as I know flight capability isn't one of them.

It would be rather strange if nyctosaurus could not fly with a webbed crest, but animals like tupandactylus could with its seemingly more robust crest.

I'm sorry. I go to a Christian school, and this chapter in our science book is about evolution, and I'm just a little confused, I'm just trying to get some answers or your explanations for certain things.
Worst is that my history teacher always try to find a way to correct the thing he says that only humans evolve, not other animals (I'm in a Christian school, that is why xD)

Once I said to him that Darwin got the theory form animals in the Galapagos island, but he said that because of the Darwin knows only human elvove :S

I once drew a bird and a Troodon with a '?' Above it's head in the notebook with the statement that humans evolve because they have mind unlike animals (remember, Christian School )

Well, here's how I look at it. It's an analogy, by the way. Either, someone thought up the idea of a car, built the parts, and perfectly puts it together and it runs perfectly, or a bunch of car parts sat on the ground and SOMEHOW became a working, perfect car. And if rocks date fossils, and the fossils date the rocks, how do you know their correct age? It's like thinking in a circle. I'd like someone to PROVE to me evolution is fact and not a theory.

Then just look for all the evidence published in several scientific jouranals that proves evolution. And by the way the word theory in science doesn't mean the same than in vulgar language. You should look up the real deffinition of theory in science. In fact i made a topic about the missinterpretation of scientific terms in this site.

A theory is almost equal to a fact ;) Don't confuse theory and hypothesis.

If you search on the internet, you can see that there are multiple examples of animals evoluting into shapes allowing them a better survival in presence of human beings.
Have you seen, for example, that new antibiotics and drugs need to be developed each year ? It's because the micro-organisms targeted by these evolute to resist to these and then produce resistant offspring :)

I hope that might have cleared up a bit.

You don't need to explain it to him Crook. The information and the evidence that supports evolution is everywhere, he just have to look and read more. Plus if you ask for proves on evolution (which is full off ) you should then provide evidence to proof creationism (which is none)

Either you could actually try and understand the world around you, or you can make up stories to explain what you don't understand.

I recommend watching Beyond the Wormhole on Science channel; they yesterday aired an episode that pretty much explained everything you'd ever want to know about the formation of that car.

Show me one tiny piece of evidence that Creationism is true, then. I do not consider the bible a suitable piece of evidence. You cannot use the bible to prove itself true.

Also; in your analogy - who created the mechanic who puts together the car?
