So far, the only depiction of Livyatan in the media I know of is Precious from Ice Age 4, and he was far from a badass superpredator.
You mean Precious? He is awesome! xD

Btw, I am annoyed by some Megalodon's fans. Some of them even think that Megalodon is bigger than Leedsichthys....

in almost every show dealing with dinosaurs the "mighty" Tyrannosaurs would appear when a extinct whale is almost non existent.

show dealing with dinosaurs

i was refering to this.

T. rex has the highest chance of appearing in a dinosaur show, you have to deal with it; it's the most famous dinosaur and one of the most studied. to be honest Planet Dinosaur is the only documentary i can remember that deosn't have rexy in it (it just mentions it).
we can only hope that is portrayed in the most accurate way possible, and not as a monster but as the animal it was.

I second this xD

But anyways I also hate frogs but I'm not like "Killer Fungus FTW!! Kill them all!!!". It's childish.

And about extinct whales, Brygmophyseter appeared in JFC, though yeah I know, it's a pseudo-documentary.

Oh lord, the Megalodon fanboys! They're like the T. rex fanboys and Spino fanboys combined into one abhorrent mob of shark lovers. I even remember this one YouTube comment from some guy who claimed that Megalodon was bigger than a blue whale! A BLUE F***ING WHALE!!! He clearly suffered some massive head injuries and then smoked some strong s**t to dull the pain from said head injuries. That's the only conceivable way to be so deluded as to think Megalodon was longer than a blue whale. Don't get me wrong, Megalodon is awesome, but it was just an animal, it wasn't a god in a shark suit.

Yes! I recently read the second book so i remember that scene. It was so funny xD
Yes, Levine being Levine... xD Even though I like The Lost World movie I think that if they sticked to the original story Levine could've even stealed Malcom's spotlight to himself.

Just a question. If we're all just animals that evolved and have no spirit, how do we reason? How do we have language and thought? A cat doesn't plan for winter and worry about whether or not it'll get enough food or be safe, so why do humans? You need thought for language, and language for thought. Seeing as other animals have neither, wouldn't that show that someONE gave us a spirit?

Actually, animals have both ;) And BTW, what do you think animals do in Summer and Fall ? They prepare for winter ;)

Just these for language.

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

Someone else therefore also gave crows, parrots, elephants, dolphins, and great apes a spirit. They can all plan, communicate with language, and reason.

Alex the Parrot

Koko the Gorilla

A squirrel does. ;) Therefore, either a squirrel has a spirit, or (my opinion) nothing does.

I stand in the shadows waiting for you to return me to the light.

Well really all animals have a langue or else they could not communicate to each other, plus there is a reason why cats do not give a crap, we tamed them and made them to the point they do not need to hunt so they do not care anymore.

Plus humans and mammals all have processes where everybody can care for each other and have a reason to live, to survive. That is the reason why all lifeforms keep going, mankind just is unique, they in order to get better lost all biological weapons, strength, and power to gain the ability to think, mankind used tools to push their way to the top however unlike animals who can hunt easily if they need food we do not have the option millions of years of eating cooked meat we cannot process raw meat as easily along with foul foods that is why we kept thinking to survive for ourselves once we find out a way to survive we can go on and do whatever but humans cannot really be considered something separate than animals & plants because everything living has the same original goal, to survive and pass on their genes.

Plus really why would a god create mankind if their all knowing? I mean at that point they should just leave animals to survive and live because mankind is just destructive in the end, and might as well create their own downfall in the end causing pure extinction of all life on earth.

No, that only shows that our brain (and other body parts) evolved to be structured in such way that we are able to have rational thoughts and elaborate a written and spoken languages. The brain has different sections for different functions, all conected one with another between the prolongation of the neurons (the neurons are the cells in the brain that recieve, process, elaborates and transmits information; they have prolongations called dendrites and axons and they produce chemichal neurotransmitors that travels from a neuron to another neuron transmitting the message). That is a basic explanation of how the brain works, but is much much more complex than that. But answering you question, the fact that we can think and speak is not a proof that we have soul, just that we have a mind and a conscience.

It shows that we have a very complex brain, not that we have a spirit. ;)
