the fact a large amount of Tylosaurus images actually shows a sea monster. and with that i don't mean i don't like the eel-like version, but if you google images for Tylosaurus you'll see many look more like monsters from Asylum movies than an actual animal. |

Nothing dinobird-ish that lived earlier than Archaeopteryx? Umm...Anchiornis, anyone? Epidexipteryx? Even the very earliest dinosaurs like Coelophysis and Herrerasaurus have a clearly bird-like shape. So yes, bird-like characteristics in dinosaurs go back millions of years before Archaeopteryx. Speaking of which, in general paleontologists who have no idea what they're talking about annoy me! Especially David Peters, Alan Feduccia, and Brian Ford! They're the three looniest of the loons! I said Anchiornis! But anyway, I honestly have no idea how such maniacs managed to snag a doctorate in paleontology. |

Ah, Herrerasaurus: the bane of my 7 year old existence, making exhibits for it in Zoo Tycoon and having absolutely no idea how it was pronounced. Hurrsaurus... Herringsaurus.. Herrerererrrereresaurus... |

Ugh people who give dinosaur genuses their names, what's the matter with you people?... I mean, just take a look, Timimus, seems nice right? Well it means "Tim's mimic"... BLOODY HELL ARE YOU STATING THAT YOUR SON LOOKS LIKE A FRIGGIN' DINOSAUR?!? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?! And also Laellynasaura, hehe this one seems cute, and it was given by the same paleontologist couple who named Timimus. Guess what it means? "Laellyn lizard". Ugh these people are just so... Ughhh... |

Agreed. That and kids using the fact that "you won't be cool if you like dinosaurs" as a reason not to like them. They really think I give a $h!t whether or not I look cool? Cool these days is anything BUT...since it basically means not having any interests of your own and being sucked into a mindless hive mind. In fact, I pity the cool, since they are clearly sad and depressed people that come up with such concepts to feel better about themselves.
I'd take that as a compliment.

You know what was funny, my dad got mad at me when I was kid for liking dinosaurs when all the kids my age liked dinosaurs, he kept pushing cars and engines on me but yeah no matter how hard he tried I just kept pushing cars off because of him, now I am the dinosaur man of my neighbor hood, yeah kids kinda like me because I can tell them about dinosaurs. But yeah I find it funny that people say dinosaurs are childish when they are not little pluffy balls of cute that go meep and run around on adventures with their friends. LOL nope they go more like dis.... Dam nature your scary! ![]() I know this is a bad image of a raptor but still no matter how un-feathered it is if anybody accepts they are scary no matter if they had feathers or not makes them truly something if you meet in real life without a fence makes you take a dump in your pants. |

Even if there was a fence between me and a large theropod, I'd still be a little discomforted standing near it. |
