I agree that JP wouldn't be the same with feathers, but that doesn't mean that feathers in general are bad. Another thing I find odd is that as well as JP, this kid has also imagined a "featherhead" version of Primal Carnage, a game that already HAS a few feathered dinosaurs.

More a relief then an annoyance, but i;m happy that the WWD film is a decent family movie, not a kids only movie

I agree, I don't think it deserved the nasty reviews it got.

In my opinion it wasn't too bad. BTW Treebeard I don't see why you had to disapprove of my post when I was just expressing my opinion.

As an epic family movie yes, it also stays a bit educational at the same time. reminded a lot of happy feet, having the same animators helped.

I think the main reason most people didn't like it was because they were expecting a documentary, even though they were given fair warning MONTHS before the movie's premiere that it wouldn't be.

I believe the issues came mainly from the title being the same as the most famous and epic dinosaur documentary series.
I bet in other countries they didn't have this issue (like in Italy, since here WWD was named "in the World of Dinosaurs" or something like that).

Speaking of which...

You can get over film about dinosaurs without velociraptors. Film without a t-rex is like soccer team without striker.

This blockhead annoys me. The movie doesn't even take place in an environment T. rex or Velociraptor were native to! I, for one, actually find it refreshing to see lesser-known dinosaur species popping up in fiction: since the ones like T. rex, Velociraptor, Apatosaurus, Triceratops, Stegosaurus etc. have all been done to death in film.

agree, although we still have to see an accurat depiction of many of them (properly feathered Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptors that aren't bloodthirsty pack hunters ...)

It's named after a man-eating monster in Ute mythology

Yes, I know. But it sounds absolutely retarded.

In your opinion maybe. I think it's unnecessary to call it a 'monster', as it was just an animal, but I don't think it constitutes "retarded"
