Formerly Dilophoraptor

Anyways, I planned on making it somewhat Monochromatic on the Grey side, so it wouldn't be too noticeable.

I find it rather unlikely that Megaraptor actually looked like that IRL (a predator that flamboyant would basically be begging to be seen by its prey IMO), but I assume the point was to make it as exaggerated as possible so I'll give you my praise for it anyway. :P

You whot mate? :3

The feathers in the drawing don't really stick out much further than in this owl, and these guys do fine IRL :P
Oh yeah, true. Still, maybe it's just me, but the Megaraptor looks more brightly coloured than an owl. Guess I can't be sure though since the drawing isn't actually in colour. :P

Well I guess that picture of Mega is somewhat similar to Cock-of-Rock bird, so it immediately make you feel that it must be colorful. :P

Yes, but for this kind of dinosaur we would need more proofs.

Speculation doesn't require direct evidence, that's why it's called speculation. ;)

Kind of leaning towards scaly carnosaurs myself as well, I just happen to like this particular reconstruction.

Mark Witton's recently started revamping some of his older paintings, the results are simply gorgeous:

I hadn't seen the top two before. Very cool. I love the wing on that displaying therizinosaurus especially.
