Saw it the other day. River Monsters is pretty decent, just wish more things on that channel were like it.

Pull my finger!

More showcase time from other talented artists.

Pachyornis makes great art.

One of my favorites of his is this depiction of a herd of quaggas in the African savannah. In my opinion, I feel that quaggas are terribly underrepresented in art, and great reconstructions are rare. This is literally, a needle in a haystack. Simple, no European hunters massacring a herd, just a normal day in the historical plains of Africa.

His reconstruction of the dodo is another favorite of mine. Unlike the majority of depictions the public believes (fat and perhaps stupid), this accurate drawing shows that well, this island pigeon isn't actually much of a fat bird. It was more or less, a bit slender.

Hyrotrioskjan is another talented artist.

His sketch of a Liopleurodon is another favorite of mine, I've actually just ran into it. The coloration retains the darktop-lightbottom skin color counter-shading without adopting the WWD patterning.

I'm not going to censor the blood, because in my honest opinion, I don't think it's necessary to. Here's a simply-yet-well-done reconstruction of the Polar tyrannosaurus, Nanuqsaurus. The coloration is perfect for snowy environments, and it's scavenging off of some marine reptile.

Another one I like the colouration of, however inaccurate it's forelimbs may be.
