Freaking hell its been 2 decades, this information should've been made commonplace already.

Patterns be a bit repetitive, but they're actually believeable :L
They're made repetitive with closely related species and i like that
Obligatory tail stripes in Parasaurolophini and Lambeosaurini kind of defeats this argument. :) In Saurolophus genus alone we have one striped and one mottled species, so...
