The Anurognathus is practically mammal-like to my eyes. I really love it.

^That one made all the more likely due to the fact that yet unpublished permian coprolites show traces of hair in them, showing that atleast some synapsids definately had a furry coat, and that the evolution of fur certainly took place far earlier in the synapsid tree than we previously thought, so i say the chance of Theriodonts atleast being furry is pretty high.

Anyway some artwork involving flags and prehistoric beasts:

A canadian flag with a regaliceratops instead of a maple:

And our local national oddity, Tupandactylus proudly wearing our flag on its crest:

On another note, some stegosaurs by the great Nix:

And an albino gorgonopsid of indeterminate species by Maija Karala:

And on a green enviroment on top of it.

Finally someone gets that these creature's habitats looked NOTHING like the deserts we are accustomed with (IIRC it was a cool temperate zone, probably very similar to places like modern day scotland or Olympic national park in the USA, atleast according to Willis and McElwain's "Evolution of plants", which has some top notch information on the evolution of Fitophysionomies worldwide.)

I said you shouldn't go around showing that other thing,I believe just mentioning the coprolite does no harm at the moment, especially since apparently some other people have been talking about it already, we just have to wait untill its properly published.
