I AM THE UNSHRINKWRAPPER!

It has nothing to do with plausibility and everything to do with the fact that its name means "Polar Bear Lizard."

That honestly makes it worse if anything. :P Let's just color all Gallimimus exactly like junglefowl, then.

Not all white birds live in the snow... so why wouldn't it be white?

Yes, swans would be a better comparison than polar bears, some swan species live in areas that have a cold environment, at least for part of the year anyway.

I don't think they're saying it's impossible for it to be white, but that it's annoying how just because it's called Nanuqsaurus and was found in Alaska, it must be coloured white in all paleoart. Merely a cliché by artists xD

(kind of like how so many Liopleurodons in paleoart have a colour scheme resembling the WWD colour scheme)

Because it was a predator, and thus some form of camouflage would have been necessary to prevent immediate detection by its prey.

Except Prince Creek wasn't a winter wonderland.

It was like modern England.

Rainy and miserable.

White wasn't exactly "camouflage" for that kind of environment.
