As someone who's done a lot of weeding I have to say when it's patchy like that you can't really detect the difference of grass or very small horsetail like plants until you actually are within reaching distance.

Or very small ferns, but it does look very grass-like. Then again, to me at least, those horsetails, vaguely look like nettles.

But, forgetting the ground cover, it's nice to see someone has paid some attention to how mammalian-like therapsids were.

Yes, and though mammalian-like, gorgonopsids didn't have digitigrade feet. The coat also looks far too thin, and the hair is poorly rendered.
