Considering that some of us, including me, have done that several times, I'd say that's a bit harsh. He's proud of his sketch. Let him have that moment.

Yeah, I think it's fine if someone posts their own stuff on occasion, I think the problem arose when some members would excessively post *only* their own work.

I recently found this person's dA and I really love a lot of their work, although admittedly I do prefer their extant animals to their extinct restorations xD I think they're just one of those artists who need a good reference, but there's nothing wrong with that
