Do you know what dinosaur are suposed to be the two in the middle? I think the last one is Deinonychus right?

All Yesterdays is a pretty epic book. Maybe this is going offtopic, but I recommend Cryptozoologicon, a book from the same group of artists.

My point is that most recreations of dinosaurs, especially velociraptor, do not end up looking like real animals. They almost always look like monsters, mutants, fantasy beasts, or some other unreal creature, but this one looks like... well, an animal

I think almost always is an exaggeration. Maybe in terms of video games or movies, but when it comes to paleo-art I think you'll find that there are quite a few depictions that try to look like real animals.
