Ostrich heads do not look like that, but yes, it could be a turkey... except it lacks the large dewlap. Even then, turky/vulture heads are a meme by now, and it is just annoying. No, it is not unplausible, but it is so common, and so widespread, that it just makes you wonder if they are intentionally trying to make as many dinosaurs as possible look ugly. I have nothing against plausible speculation, but when it gets to there point where one artist portrays several lineages with identical naked red heads and necks, that is just to far. |

I'm more annoyed by lion-like manes on Tyrannosaurs which only fule the Dinosaur-king crab.

Aha Trisdino, so you're here too. I though I remembered you from somewhere @stargatedalek he probably mend on feathered dinosaurs. It's sometimes included and I can understand Furka's irritation. |

Sorry for starting such a huge argument guys, I just happen to enjoy that reconstruction (I think part of the point is that it looks ridiculous, there are many modern animals that look just as ridiculous).

Even though I've opened up a bit more to the idea of feathered dinosaurs, I too think that Laelly looks silly. The same still goes for the porcupine-Protoceratops from All Your Yesterdays. |

I can't deny that it looks silly, of course it does (albeit in a very cute way). However, as I said, I think that's kind of the point.

Well, silly in a way that makes me not like it. I've never been a fan of "poofball" dinosaurs, and that's no exception. |

I think the porcupine Proto is meant to look like a porcupine. |
