Well, most of the artwork from the original All Yesterdays is by John Conway IIRC.

Sorry about the double post, but may I ask why my original post started this huge completely ridiculous argument anyway? I guess I should apologize for stating my opinion on a piece of artwork, since it seems that's something I'm not permitted to do.

Actually the argument started when i said that i didn't like it :P They were fighting me not you xD But the same applies here. Seems like i don't have the choice to give my opinion about something i don't like.

I appreciate the attempt, but as Mark Witton said, there is the feeling that it was reconstructed in the spirit of "This animal is often reconstructed to look a certain way, but what if it looked like THIS?!", which doesn't strike me as a healthy attitude.
this post started it for me
stating your opinion is fine, but stating that for someone else to fight your opinion is bad, thats hypocritical

It's just that this whole argument wouldn't have started if I hadn't posted the picture in the first place.

Y'all are not focusing on the real problem here, the porcupine invasion!

I'm a fan of ceratopsians having quills, but jeez, this is extreme

The only one of those that looks even remotely implausible to me is the second one TBH. I'm rather weary of the fear many people harbour of novel ideas and concepts in paleo-art.

that concavenator and trike look a bit, odd...
but the others are accurate to have quills (actually they need them in order to be accurate)

That Psittacosaurus is even too conservative to me, if anything.

-I like the first psittacosaurus and the concavenator (in a weird sort of xenomorph kinda way)
-the pattern of the quills on the trike bothers me, not sure why
-and the last psittacosaurus seems like it was deliberately going for the bare minimum integument possible

About the controversial Leaellynasaura picture I posted a few pages back that somehow started an overly heated discussion, let me just point out that there's no evidence to suggest the animal didn't look like that. As long as you all recognize that, think whatever you want about it (I still personally find it fuzzy and adowable).

Actually, I take my previous post back, the bottom one is not fine, it lacks quills further down its tail

I don't have any problem with the first, I just call anything with with quills a porcupine-dino hybrid. Honestly I was just trying to get everyone to stop arguing. As far as psittacosaurus, I'm willing to accept this:

I feel like the length of the quills in the pic I posted before was too excessively long.

Same story here:
