normally I would agree, but A) B) it was made a few years ago, so having things like naked tyrannosaurs or even scaled therizinosaurs is understandable (the dromaeosaurs they have no excuse for) C) its still miles ahead of any other dinosaur related program intended for children, even those that claim to be educational are worse, compare to any other equivalent childrens program and it will seem as though even the worst of the models are highly accurate by comparison and Dinosaur King doesn't even pretend to be educational unlike a lot of childrens programs about dinosaurs which are just flat out worse |

They get it close enough. Documentaries are meant to be for a general public, not paleofans that will be obsessed with every tiny accuracy. As long as they seek to portray the dinosaurs are any other animal, and they are pretty much accurate with their looks and behaviours then is ok. They don't need to be perfect. Is all about sending a message to change the way people regular people see dinosaurs. The majority of people won't be paying attention if the feather arrangement is correct or not, they will aknwoledging the fact that they had feathers, that they were animals and not monster, that not all of them were giants, etc. If a documentary manages to do that then they did their job just fine. |

The problem is that sometimes documentaries and other such sources make it even worse. If a piece of media badly represents and animal like this: The people watching it may be like "ah screw that crap, feathered dinosaurs suck", and a new feather-hater is born. |

Well, making dinosaur statue using real feathers is not kind of easy. That one is the best one I have ever seen. |

I think he posted the second one just as a reconstruction that he enjoyed, not as a subject of complaint. |

The first model is in no way fine, at all. Its feathers are all flayed, they do not go up nearly far enough on the snout, the anatomy is off, and it is just an all around terrible model. The second one is good. |

the feathers are flayed, ok, did you ever think maybe A) its hard to model feathers onto a stature, because it is and they tend to flay, or B) with you constantly saying all maniraptors should have emu feathers, did you ever think to I don't know, look at a goddamn emu? I've seen them up close, I've even held them, and I can assure you they tend to have flayed feathers after moving around for a few hours before grooming that snout bit is total bull, and I'm damn sick of you complaining about it every chance you get theres no reason to assume that every dromaeosaur had the same feathers on its snout where is the anatomy off? or rather, do you even know what species its representing to be able to make such claims? the only issue I can see is that the pen feathers on the wings may not go all the way to the shoulder, but its hard to tell from the angle |

@trisdino why are you even arguing about it here? This is a topic for people showing stuff that they like, something I don't think you get the concept of. No one cares if stuff is realistic here, other than you.
