I think Cyborg was alright, but I don't see why tris and bigwhale (who actually apologized) felt the need to dislike the picture in the first place. |

These are the best retrosaurs Everything that came later is just the pursuit after the knowledge of their true identities.

It's funny to think how far we've come since the earliest retrosaurs, and how close we're getting to finally unveiling the true nature of Dinosauria after all these years. |

I have full respect for people's taste in art, but this is the paleoart thread, not the naked mole-rat dragon thread. Once an illustration crosses a certain point, it ceases to be paleoart, and just becomes art, thus not belonging in this thread. |

It's called favourite dinosaur reconstructions, whether its 'paleoart' or just from media is irrelevant. If it's a picture of a dinosaur, it can go here. I've noticed you're really being quite rude to other people whenever they post a reconstruction that doesn't meet your standard. It's not 'most accurate pictures' so don't jump on someone whenever they post a not-quite-fully-feathered dinosaur... it's getting kind of annoying. |

For all we know even accurate dinosaur depictions could still be fairly far off from what dinosaurs actually were. |

Yes, but not THAT much off. That is like portraying a lion as a scaly, starved looking monster, and still claiming it counts as a lion. |

I guess, but I still think it's important to respect the tastes of other members. They're not arguing that these depictions are accurate, just that they like the way they look. I personally see nothing wrong with that. |
