also, exagerating the texture can make the feathers look bigger than what they really are .

I think it actually looks MORE realistic this way anyway. When was the last time you saw a kiwi from 30 feet away and could see the outline of every single feather? |

.......Yeah, I have to say I think that spinosaurs are one of the exceptions to the "Everything looks better with feathers" rule. I like the other two ones though. |

It looks ok, but TBH I prefer my spinosaurs scaly. Not saying they MUST have been scaly, I just prefer them that way. Extremos: That pic would be great as part of a DR sketch!

Yeah, if they hadn't put Gorgonopsids dying in the worst ways possible as their first scene then perhaps it could've worked out... What a lovely way to start a documentary DR! Perhaps that's why I didn't like you. Oh and by the way, I think this guy is needing some more feathers on it's legs and neck

I've always been a fan of DinoRaul's models, even though some of them are outdated now. |

Once more, I'll be kicking dinosaurs in ze arse and will show Synapsids, because boy are they awesome... ![]() Don't ask me why, but I just absolutely ADORE this Cynognathus, I don't even knbow if it's realistic or not, but I just lurv it And back some very few million years we find ourselves with another animal I love, Proterosuchus, and luckily some artists now depict it with it's full upright glory, rather than just depicting him as another sluguish crocodile: ![]()
