However the teeth are different in Palorchestes. I think if it had anything like a trunk at all it would have something more like a hooded seal or elephant seal:https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQkfJmoWWXW_evHunYqtU-TYyFXyZn3KumEy8giyGs4dq3LgPRP Edited by Slothy Dude, Sep 8 2014, 08:22 PM.

I'm know evo-genius, but I don't think having different teeth would change how the trunk would be formed... I mean, look at all the different animals with short trunks. Their teeth are all over the map, and yet, the trunk still persists. |

About the trunk, that's because of something I forgots on the verts, now it's already fixed. ![]()
Um.. I don't think there's a nice ground sloth animation ATM. The one that used in Philly's Paramylodon is the Stegosaurus anims. Though I know that HENDRIX was working on a Megatherium with new ground sloth anims.
Umm.. Palorchestes isn't an actual tapir, it was actually a kind of marsupial. ![]()
I knew that, I'm actually use that reconstruction as the reference pic for the model I made. But I prefer the original tapir-like recovery. And thank you for all the comments!

Thanks guys! Apart from the pack, I'm also doing some minor projects like these: ♦ Henodus chelyops - Collaboration with Ringo ![]() Another collaboration, originally made by Ringo while I just do the icons and a few skin edits. ♦ Seram Island Ichthyosaur (Ichthyosaurus ceramensis) - Individual project, credits goes to HENDRIX, Austroraptor, and Chucha/samuel ![]() A little known ichthyosaur, and the only known large extinct Mesozoic marine reptile of Indonesia. Known only from the Seram Island in Molluccan island chains, it's about 2 metres in length. A remake of my old one here, this is my first photoshop-made skin that I ever made, and although there are still some seams on its front fins, I'm quite proud with the result. Original textures using one of Austroraptor's ichthyosaurs, while the eyes were using Chucha's Ichthyosaurus. Both of these projects will be released soon.

Nice work on those, I especially like the henodus because we needed Placodonts. However I think the top of the shell contrasts too much with the rest of the body. |

Why don't you use a mirror modifier? It saves much time ![]() Also, the henodus would benefit from a new UV, the shell is very stretchy... |

There are a lot of icthyosaurs and plesiosaurs now, shame other animals like mosasaurs have not been updated lately. All of mine beach themselves. This ichthyosaur looks wonderful. Any scientific name? |

It's written right above the render ![]() And you could show a little more appreciation next time, instead of saying "I already have this, I wanted that". |
