Finally more ground sloth species For Ice age: I thought that Sid was a Jefferson's Ground Sloth (Megalonyx jeffersonii). And the mini-sloth tribe from Ice Age 2:The Meltdown was some kind of island ground sloth species.

I thought so about the sloth tribe. They were so tiny, like dog-size or sth. ![]() @BossMan, Jake You are right. Why did I write "Pixar"? Dr. Freud to blame. Edited by velociraptor, Jun 6 2016, 05:20 PM.

And for Sid this French , Hungarian, and Italian wiki also say the same that Sid was a Jefferson's Ground Sloth: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sid_(L%27%C3%82ge_de_glace) https://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_J%C3%A9gkorszak-filmek_szerepl%C5%91inek_list%C3%A1ja https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personaggi_de_L%27era_glaciale And the mini sloths were Neocnus: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Ice_Age_characters Edited by Rudyn, Jun 9 2016, 09:35 PM.

Advice accepted. ![]() Let me consider it first. I will probably only make the Megalocnus and/or Neocnus. And since they seems to be quite different from mainland ground sloths (semi-arboreal, non-knuckle-walkers), there's a high possibility they'll use a different animation set (WNW Tamandua comes to mind). Ah, yeah... should've known that. Thanks for the info! And thank you everyone for all your comments! In the meantime, here's Sidney:Jefferson's Ground Sloth (Megalonyx jeffersonii) ![]() ![]() Hope you like it!

Here are the final variants for all the sloths:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hope yo like them, guys! Also, this is the last update before the release of this ground sloth minipack. I'll upload the file soon after adding some minor additions. For the island sloths, I've planned and decided to include them in a whole different pack featuring extinct animals of the Carribbean islands. Since the diversity of the region is too interesting to be forgotten And besides, I wanted to try my hands on doing critters like the Ornimegalonyx and Titanohierax, or the native shrews, monkeys, and giant hutias.
