AD croc is made by Simba and thus it's not PD.
If you want to use a croc as a base model, there's Eryel Saltwater croc.
However i think it would distort itself horribly with otter anims.
Really? Sorry, I don't know about that.
Thanks for the advice! Maybe I'll try use the otter model. :)

originally, one_piece

using croc as base is perfectly fine, all you have to do is to shape it to mach with the otter's bone and then rig it.
but, why not give it a try on making your own mesh? since you know how to edit the model, you probably know the basics of blender. and those basics things are probably enough to make your own mesh now ̣̣̣̣̣̣̣̣̣̣̣(though the more tools you know, the better). i personally think everyone should try to make their own mesh, its the best way to make your works unique.

the skink body looks too short and fat, also the tail seems to become thin, then large again ?
also, the head should be less flat and more triangular shaped from a side view.

@Robbie: Well, I just doing the models. The skin is on Terrena.
@Furka: Thanks for the advice! It's quiet hard to edit the head. And actually, the pic is still the WIP one.

Thanks for the comments! :)

Which skink are you speaking of? The Bob-tail Skink or the Blue Tongue?

It's fine, Southern Mammoths have very weird heads xD

If I were you I'd try to give it a shoulder hump and a sloping back, like in the skeletal above. It's typical for mammoths ;)
Also, I think the tusks of the male curve upwards a little too much xD

I'd suggest lowering the back and hind legs a bit, other than that quite nice. However I think the original model is by Simba, so this would be better in the PU section.
