We have a tank with a few of Neon Tetras (6), Red Platies (3 I think), Bleeding heart tetras (2), 2 black-white striped (horizontally) fish (Idk what species exactly), a few guppies and two orange-black striped (vertically) fish.

Sorry, but Sheather, do you have your crown-tail betta separate from the other fish? Cause f you don't, He must be very docile.

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

He is indeed very docile and not separated; he pays them no mind, even the young fry.

(mouth drops) They're sorta rare .......... Have you ever considered putting female bettas in there? I don't think it would turn him aggresive, then again. I'm not sure.

No because the tank isn't even meant for any betta; it's a bit too chilly and the current too strong. He's only in there because I had to take down his tank. He's okay and manages well enough, but it's not ideal and I won't replace him when he passes.

Betta can actually co-exist with other small fish that have different behavior. They will mostly turn aggressive toward the same kind, other specie of bettas and gouramis. However, fish own personally is involve too.

two orange-black striped (vertically) fish.
These are almost certainly Tiger Barbs, Systomus tetrazona.

No, they're not. They look more like this: Posted Image
Still no idea what species those might be though.

Oh! A Clown loach! They are gorgeous fish! But beware, these guys can grow up about a foot long! But very slow though. Some specimen I know take 4-5 years to get about 7 inchs long. xD

They are gorgeous indeed! We only see them during the evening though, since they hide themselves during most of the day. We've had the two of them for like a year and a half now and they barely grew, so I don't think they will get a foot long xD

Their grow rate is so slow, maybe they will reach full size about 8 years or more! xD

But the thing I don't like in this fish is that their colour fade when they grow up. A very big one will nearly got rid of their black beuatiful bands. :/

my catfish seems to be growing at different rates: one is quite the same size of when i got them, but one is about 3 times larger (it was already larger in the beginning, but now the difference is more obvious)
