I don't know conversion from dollars to rupees (which I think you use?) but spices cost 20 - 30 US dollars each and societies 15 - 25.
It is 1243.50 Indian Rupees. I think, I will buy gold instead.

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

So since last update, I've sold my spice finch pair (long story, but they went to a family with a giant aviary, and I got quite a nice price for them, and now I can concentrate on the society finches who are a lot friendlier both with one another and with my eardrums xD ).

And in other news, two new societies have instead come to the collection, hens named Aurora (pied) and Lyra (white).

And of course, the lovely Flurry and Errol have finally succeeded in their efforts at child rearing. Four babies hatched, with not one infertile egg in the clutch! At eleven days old they were finally old enough to handle and take a picture of. :3

Posted Image

The babies grew faster and faster every day. Only 3 days later their feathers had begun to fill in and their eyes opened for the first time, and they could sit calmly in my hand.

Posted Image

Within a further three days, the chicks could perch and sit right on a finger!

Posted Image

Yesterday, at 20 days old, the babies were at their cutest yet. Fully-feathered, but not ready to fly yet. They perch happily in a row and like having their cheeks rubbed.

Posted Image

And today, they've taken their first tentative flights about the cage and left the nest on their own for a few brief forays, though they always go right back when mom comes back in to feed them. xD

How proud mommy and daddy must be. :3

Are you sure it is a male? If can be a daughter that resemble father as well, and Apollo is not really a name suit for a cute little girl. xD

I think he's a male. He has the more wedge-shaped head (more noticeable now than then) and heavier bill typical of males.

Those are amazing news Dylan. All the baby birdies look really cute. I love the photo with the four of them in your hand.

Da cute babeh finches are pretty much grown up now but still mooch off mom and dad whenever they can for food. A couple have stayed semi-tame, as in they don't really love me but don't fear being picked up. They'll sit on my finger and stuff if I don't move too much.

I upgraded my bettas from their crappy bowls into this, also. Each has a tank and I've also added some guppies and pygmy corydoras catfishes and a zebra nerite snail to both tanks as well as some emergent plants, and in one tank a little tadpole. They get filters and heaters now and such though they don't act much different and this was more for me because it's a lot prettier and more fun to work with than a smelly bowl.

I don't have pictures but Ive traded off my goldfish and bought a male paradise gourami and 2 C. paleatus cordoras catfish for my large aquarium, bringing my total zoo currently to:

  • 1x Cat (Marley)
  • 3x Dog (Tyson, Holly, Reesie)
  • 8x Society Finch (Flurry, Errol, Aurora, Lyra, Apollo, Elizabeth (Lizzie), Unnamed Chick #1, Unnamed Chick #2)
  • 1x Paradise Gourami (Harold)
  • 2x Betta (Larry III and Walter II)
  • 13x White Cloud Mountain Minnow
  • 5x Algae-eating Shrimp
  • 1x Ghost Shrimp
  • 1x Green Frog (tadpole)
  • 4x Wild Guppy
  • 4x Zebra Nerite Snail
  • 1x Assassin Snail
  • 2x Peppered Corydoras
  • 2x Pygmy Corydoras
  • 3x Scarlet Millipede
  • 1x Bumblebee Millipede

That is a lot of pets xD I love the pictures of the finches. Is good to see they are growing up just fine. Why the unamed chicks? Are you planning to give them away and you don't want to name them because of that?
