Pull my finger!

Shrikes are the same size, but they're just plain evil in bird terms. xD

Imagine if one fights your finch and impales it... would crows or hawks be a problem?

I think most shrikes are a little bigger than society finch. If I'm not wrong...

So it would be like a disaster if they can reach the finchs. Crow would be a great danger too, but I think most hawks are too big to fit their talons or beak between the gap of the bars.

Although if you watched the birds and stayed close by, Im sure theyd be okay. I doubt anything would dare attack them if you were standing right there.

The best way to not get your heart broken, is pretending you don't have one.

Hawks could possibly knock over the cage, but I doubt it. So pretty!

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

I don't watch them all day, but our dogs do. Nothing goes into our yard with them around and they're in and out all day - the birds are just outside the house when I set them out and I don't think anything is going to come at them with the dogs right nearby.

I've never seen a crow in our neighborhood actually. Hawks, yes, but never right near the house.

A bigger issue would be cats if you have neighbors close who let their cats out. My sisters cat for the month she stayed next door launched herself at my aviary every night.

At my old house, the neighbors' cats came and killed a robin on our patio and a mourning dove in the side... But as long as the dogs are there, it shouldn't be a problem.

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

This is my new bird-room-aviary-kitchen in my Grandma's upstairs apartment where I'm living for the time being. The birds are very happy being let to fly free for most of the day now.

I'm not your average caged-bird owner.

I still take them outdoors (caged) every now and again for some fresh air and sunlight but they mostly live unconfined now (though they spend a lot of time in their open cages anyway, that's still their home).

Wow! You have moved into an apartment?

Those birdies must be very happy! But don't you have problem with their droping?

Very nice, it's good that you found someone that lets you have free-roaming birds inside the house.

the birds are free! :D

Well, I hope they have a lot of fun (the deigning with the plants seem stunningly beautiful) and also, I hope they don't poop at unwanted places. :P

My great grandmother/great aunt have a two story house and the upstairs is entirely unused - I've moved in there for the time being (for unimportant reasons).

They love birds, and the birds don't make very much mess that cannot be easily vacuumed or dusted away. : )

My father will kill me if I have pet birds and let them roam everywhere like that! xD

But he doesn't like the idea of caging them as well....

Oh! Dad! What sort of bird I can keep?!

Keep a Hummingbird. xD

Well, peacocks here roam free throughout the state, but it seems they like only one place: Someone's houses sunshades. And the finches are really nice Sheather. :D
