I'm kinda wondering, Sheather, but how do you keep Nutmeg and Pepper apart? I can't tell any difference! |

Pepper has tan speckles on her throat, and is slightly duller overall. I originally assumed this was because she was in moult when purchased, but since her markings are the same 2 months later now, I think they're just her permanent patterns; even if she does moult into a brighter color eventually, Nutmeg sings and has a bolder personality overall so I think I'll still be able to tell. |

I love your fishes so much ! (I love mine to......) Well, how much does a finch shall cost? An estimation at least ! I saw a pair of spice finch in my nearby trusted pet store ('trusted' because the shopkeeper gives me discounts) and I didn't ask them the cost. And I have a cage, which had two budgies, but my cousin was so attached to them, that he took them away. So thinking of buying the finches....... |

I don't know conversion from dollars to rupees (which I think you use?) but spices cost 20 - 30 US dollars each and societies 15 - 25. |

A finch costs like 30 € here, a canary 40 €, and a budgie 20 €. Which makes a finch 45 $, a canary 60 $, and a budgie 30 $. |

Budgies are $20 here for any normal breed. The cheapest finches, Zebras, are about 8 dollars if you find them at the right time. But canaries are -at minimum- 100 dollars here. Usually considerably more. |

Over here, I'm pretty certain you can get a canary for 10 euro. But Crook lives in Monaco and has to sell his body for a living I always thought budgies and finches were a little more expensive, but I don't think any of them costs over 20 euros.

I don't know why they cost so much considering they've been domesticated so long and breed so well. |

And they are extremely common as pets! I'm really shocked that they cost that much. I don't think i'm going to get any birds after all then

Seriously like spice finches have been bred in captivity for maybe 30 years, and don't breed all that well, and I got my pair for 60 dollars. |
