Not so much since you don't have tank walls there. :P

Clever workaound, but the mist leaks through the water surface and tank walls I assume?

This is definitely awesome! I agree that this was quite a problem before, but your pictures look amazing.

This will look tremendous for the amount of marine based exhibits I have upcoming for my zoo, I'm glad to see that this bothered someone else, too, so much so you took the time to fix it. I look forward to the final result, though it's looking grand so far.

Yeah, massively in fact :P I'm still tampering with the particle values to get better results, but its difficult to get a nice smooth transition from foggy to clear without creating spillover outside the tanks without compromising the thickness of the fog too much. I wonder if there's a way to make the fog invisible outside the water, that would pretty much solve everything :P

I've edited the fog a little, and it looks a lot better now in my opinion.

(To provide some context: this is a very, very large tank containing hundreds of fish, including four full-sized whale sharks and large schools of barracuda and golden trevally - most of them are hidden in the fog)

I've also made a different version which is slightly denser and covers a smaller area, and spawns from the surface (rather than from the bottom as does the other one, which is really only suitable for the largest of tanks).

Now I have to figure out if it is at all possible to make the fog particles invisible outside the water.

Oh wow. This is amazing. I am really eager to try this out. So will this make Reef tanks look a bit. Brighter? Because that is a big problem considering the amount of animals that require the reef biome. But putting that aside this will certainly help out with large indoor tanks and deep sea tanks the most. Great job Jannick. You certainly have my applause

This will be amazing! I've always disliked the look of completely see through tanks, but now this will make them 10x more realistic
