Type of Exhibit:
Crab-eating macaques like to climb, so having many branches, wood and rocks in necessary in the exhibit.They enjoy much vegetation, so if you want to make them happy, use it.The same with water, they are often swimming.As a roof, high net may be used, so they cannot escape.Their exhibit should be medium-sized, and guests may view animals from glass walls.

Temperament:
Group living in all species is dependent on tolerance of other group members. In crab-eating macaques, successful social group living maintains that there must be post-conflict resolution. Usually, less dominant individuals will lose to a higher-ranking individual when conflict arises. After the conflict has taken place, lower-ranking individuals tend to fear the winner of the conflict to a greater degree.

Diet:
Feed them mainly with fruits and leaves, sometimes giving them also other plant parts, small animals and eggs.

Social Needs:
They live in gropus of varied size, with more females than males.

Extra Information:
  • Thailand and Myanmar populations can use stone tools.
  • Crab-eating macaques have third biggest range of any primate, only beside human and rhesus macaque.
  • It's also known as long-tailed macaque.
  • They are sometimes sold as pets.
  • It's an invasive species at some parts of Asia.

I was mostly refering to the description of the exhibit. Is not necessary, but it would be cool. I explain you why. We want this encyclopedia to be useful also for those that play the game and are looking for ideas on how they should build exhibits. I know we don't have a crab eating macaque for the game, but they are primates so you can say a bit more about how an exhibit for this kind of primates should be. You can leave as it is if you don't want/know what else to add, but i like to encourage the members to put as much information as possible ;) (plus the more complete the FS, more pointies you can get for the contest XD )
