 Thank you Sergio M, we appreciate your help. Next time please report the post so the staff can deal with it. That way you are not backseat modding which is against the rules :$

 What rule is that, Jenna? I recall in the early days of TRT that there was no "backseat modding" rule, as the staff (at the time) felt that so long as the correction was done in good faith, there was no reason to institute such a rule.

From what I understand of our current rules:

...Then Sergio was doing exactly what is considered fine (i.e. helping other members if they make a mistake). He didn't engage with someone deliberately breaking rules, feed a troll, or break any other rules in the process (to my understanding).

So is this a board policy change? if so, has the list of rules of the site changed? I'm not seeing anything referring to "backseat modding," specifically.
