The wings and tail move very neatly. Another milestone in ZT2 history is set by DM, again ![]() Partially stretched wings is not a problem for small birds, really - many of them keep their wings in this position when excited. Front toes got their joints, and can fold & grasp - that's awesome! But what's about a back one? It's no less important for birds. Btw, after looking under the bird's tail I thought it to be a jet jay |

Just a question: were the flamingo nodes edited in any way ever? Before reinstalling ZT, I observed Aves Shoebill and RR flamingo with smoothly folded wings... with RR AA & WC packs present... how was it possible?! |

But I clearly remember, and even was surprized, that Shoebill hadn't such sharp wrists that time, but wings rather positioned as Demoiselle crane ones, while hanging low... or it was just a lucky glitch. I regret about the lack of screens. Just like when you see a cryptid, and forget to take pics. Edited by Elephas Maximus, Dec 1 2013, 02:20 PM.

Would it be too soon to start turning this mesh into a wide variety of birds already?

I was expecting this ;p Technically it can already be edited and should even be usable later on as it is. (But perhaps it would need new parenting to the nodes if I have to make some edits while animating.) So yeah you can go ahead

Will there be a mating animation, the first one ever? Rubbing the beak after eating or scratching it with foot can be seen in birds quite often too. |

Just model and skin can be done for now, as the anims don't yet exist there's also no coding.
