Well, it's not the rest anim, that would be sleeping. It's generic standing, the default anim. So I think it's appropiate to have it pretty nervous & active. ;)

This is 100x better than original idle shaking animation that every BF animal was gifted with :)

Oh, that is what I meant by a, I meant idle anim. Because watching birds outside they sort of have completely still spaces in between their twitchy moving. :D

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

WOW.

That is amazing DM. I can't believe how far we've come altering the game to where we can do that. And this is just the idle animation, I eagerly await the actual movements and behaviors!

It really looks like a video clip. O.O

DM, this is amazing. I can honestly say I've never seen any animal made for ZT2 that looked so alive! :D

such bird
very twitch
much plumage
wow

If I may make a suggestion, rather than use it strictly as the Stand_Idle, perhaps have it be a commonly-played default behavior? While small birds are indeed very nervous, they tend to spend around the same amount of time motionless as they do "twitching" for lack of a better term. Although in a zoo environment I can see the logic in making the twitchy stand the primary idle animation.

While I suppose it's meant to be a compliment towards DM, and DM certainly deserves compliments for this piece, I disagree. Animals like red panda, suricate or Gerenuk really had nice anims and, to be fair, BF had much more on their shoulders than one animset :P

Meh, anybody knows a 24fps gif recorder? xD

I first tried to imagine some hopping animation but that failed miserably, then I tried some "manual motion tracking":

Tbh it looks a little robotic, the animal doesn't have that feeling of jumping fron the ground, more like it was raised by an invisible force :P Can't really say what exactly the problem is, but birds in my garden don't quite hop like that xD
