Well now that more material of Didelphodon is known it seems that it was an amphibious mammal with a durophagus diet, sort of like a sea otter but on fresh water. |

That's what we used to think until recently, but science marches on. Also opossums and badgers don't exactly have comparable ecological niches. Edited by CyborgIguana, Jan 25 2016, 08:38 PM.

For anyone who collects figurines, who should I buy from; CollectA, Papo, Rebor, Carnigie, or Safari? I mainly want something scientifically accurate with at least feathered coelosaurs. |

CollectA, Safari, and Carnegie are all very good. Papo's figures are exquisitely detailed but most of their stuff is inspired by JP, so not the height of scientific accuracy. |

This question is more based on opinion than anything but in the Disney dinosaur film anybody remember the scene when Aladar's mom scares away the baby parasaurolophous? Well I'm doing a folley project and I'm trying to find sounds that best replicate the baby's squeals and grunts, which animal do you think I should go with or animals. |

It sounds vaguely like some hatchling bird or croc squeaks, mixed in with I think MAYBE a pitch-raised goose or elk. MAYBE. |

I'd like to know the same thing, except for A. fragilis specifically. I'm guessing ~10m? |

I'm asking for fragilis species, and I thought they could get to 12 meters. |

Allosaurus itself probably didn't get that big, but its close cousin Saurophaganax did (which has been synonymized with Allosaurus on occasion). |
