Those are scales though IIRC, I thought we also had bare skin impressions from somewhere on the upper body (though I could be mistaken). |

No no, the GORGOSAURUS skin specimen was a throat patch. T rex itself has skin from the belly, thigh, foot and tail. Tarbosaurus apparently has throat and foot skin too. By skin, I'm talking general epidermal preservation, nothing specific. But yes, there is a difference between scales and just bare skin. Its a pretty substantial difference too. Annoyingly, much of this is still not described to my knowledge. Except T. rex's tail skin, which came from Wyrex. Edited by Incinerox, Mar 7 2016, 05:27 AM.

IIRC there is some privately owned Trex skin that shows evidence of feathers. I believe its owned by Paul Sereno but I'll make sure |

Neovenator would be at the top of the food chain with baryonyx being a close second. That should give you a head start |

Why would Sereno, a renowned paleontologist and a widely known paleo-sensationalist, privately own something that important and keep it quiet? |

DIE-non-o-kiss is the correct pronunciation from what I've heard, although it's not wrong to use the other pronunciation. |

All that matters is whether person A and person B understand what the other person is talking about. Pronounciation is somewhat irrelevant in a mostly written medium anyway. |
