We don't know. There are many sauropods, which are known from a single bone, and there is a huge load of ones, which we either didn't discover yet, or never will, because none individual has fossilized.

In short, neither was. :P

Note, however, that both of them were extremely large.

AFAIK amphicoelias is still generally considered the longest
but there are others that could be larger, they are just poorly known

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinosaur_size

What we know so far. Sauroposeidon was a Brachiosaurid (or rather a relative of Brachiosaurids from what I recall was concluded lately - either way it was slim). Compared to other Macronarians, they were pretty lightweight. There are some dinosaurs of which size we are not certain - Alamosaurus, Bruhathkayosaurus etc. Amphicoelias is so damn dubious. I wish we had that lost fossil material of it, or discovered new one.

Is it possible for Parasaurolophus to have a true crest instead of only a tube crest?

I meant, not the sail like crest, but the meaty crest (Don't know what to call it xD ), like how Darwinopterus is speculated to have.

I said that so you all could understand it better, because I don't have the words to describe it well :P But I'm not saying their shape is the same, yet the structure.

do you mean behind or in front of the solid crest?
the former is rather widely used, the latter would be unlikely but not impossible

Behind it. From what I've seen, the reconstructions depict sails on them. But I'm not sure though.

that varies
when you get into details like that the artist can take a lot of creative liberty :music:

I didn't mean the sailed crest like picture above.

Kinda like the one above, but with different shape :P . I'm going to say that in case you didn't understand my confusing statement xD

it would simply be a matter of making the sail thicker so that it encompassed the crest
I've never seen it done, but I can tell you already its plausible that para could have had such a crest

I don't consider it especially likely since there are no obvious attachment points for soft tissue on Para's crest, but it's not totally impossible.

exactly, possible but unlikely, its equally plausible para had a crest in front of the bone crest
