Cool, though I also think they should've included prehistoric animals. Siats and Lythronax deserve mention IMO. |

Wow! Once again, so many new species has been founded this year! Forests of Amazon, New Guinea, Sri Lankan, & Vietnamese still not been fully explored. ![]() @CyborgIguana: Just one prehistoric species mentioned, the Kooteninchela deppi. But I agree with you, Siats & Lythronax should be mentioned too. |

It would seem the completely new-to-science Omani Owl is missing from the list, which is weird, since it would seem like more of a 'discovery' than several of the cryptic species that have been known to science for ages. |
