Why not? If it's okay to brutally murder lions, why not do the same to people? |

If you guys say it's okay to murder lions then I guess it really is okay to kill people. Edited by Tyrannocanthosaurus, Jan 17 2014, 12:11 PM.

I don't say is ok to kill lions. I actually don't support trophy hunting, but your arguments against it aren't very strong tbh. Also i do understand why sometimes must be necessary if a lion is a trouble-maker... but i also think that was people who invade their habitats, so if they are hunting cattle or approaching close to villages is because the humans are spreading in a territory that is not theirs and killing lions natural preys and destroying their natural habitat, so i don't find that a good reason to justify lion hunting either. |

Tyrannocanthosaurus, you are overreacting. Though you may be saying your feelings, it's still looking like you are overreacting. Don't lash back at me, I'm just warning you from going past the limit.

I don't generally agree with trophy hunting either. But your reasoning for why you don't agree with it is and your complete refusal to acknowledge any other side to anything is childish and ignorant. |

I don't even like trophy hunting either. I personally agree with ZC, It's not okay to hunt a lion. We are the ones to invade their habitat. What other choice do we leave them ? Edited by Robbie, Jan 17 2014, 12:34 PM.

I prefer if you don't insult my maturity, anyway I respect the facts of the other side to things, though I don't think there completely true. |

tbh Africa is the continet we are native from, I wouldn't say we are invading their territories in a different way then hyaenas. also Slender, Cannibalism is common among "inferior", less intelligent cold-blooded animals, like fishes and crocodiles. Mammals don't cannibalize that often, and even then it's usually under occasional circumstances. |

Well I went hunting with my grandfather's friend and his family in September and I saw him take home an African Buffalo at a game reserve in Dallas. Of course, it is never pleasant to see an animal die but he wanted to go on one last trophy hunt. Though it wasn't the buffalo that made me angry. I love them and think they're majestic but at the same time think that it's not like no one is going to kill the last Cape Buffalo and on top of that they've never really been endangered presently or historically. The thing that made me angry, it's the Dama Gazelle and Scimitars that were in the reserve. That made me furious, because they're only 1000 left in the wild (Damas) and the Oryx are extinct in the wild I hated seeing these rare animals hunted for sport. So I sort of disagree with trophy hunting.

actually it's also thanks to hunting reserves like those that they didn't go completely extinct. I do agree that hunting endangered animals is bad, but then those aren't even native of the country. If someone released pandas where I live, I wouldn't let them roam the place ... |
