I think we can all agree that what you are trying to accomplish is good, but you need to learn to be more open-minded. There are two sides to every issue, and so far you've only been looking at one of them.

PS: I hope you know that usually hunting is actually MORE merciful than some of the horrors they subject animals to in the slaughterhouses where the meat you eat comes from. So the "domesticated so we wouldn't need to hunt anymore" argument doesn't work because, frankly, I'd rather STILL be hunting my food than having to eat pigs and chickens that have been killed in the most horrific ways imaginable.
They still die, Regardless of if it were merciful or not. :P
You'll die someday too, does that mean you want me to shoot you right now? Didn't think so. :P

I mean't too say that even if they die in a slaughter house or get shot, they still die. :P And, I don't know if you'd shoot me. :x

Banned for being rude.

I also heard some farms are becoming more humane. That's good, because if I found out the meat I eat at a particular restaurant was slaughtered brutally, I'd never eat there again.

Nah, I wouldn't do that. I'm just saying you wouldn't WANT me to.

I agree with Cy on the hunting humane levels thing, heck even chimps use tools to hunt.

You will respect my authoratah.

What you said about I agree with hunting for the satisfaction of needs. Poaching can be for the satisfaction of needs.

Anyway it sounds like you have not thought out what you think yet.

I saw that documentary, and tbh repeatedly beating something with a stick doesn't seem much human to me.

but at least we can make better kill than things like wolves, crocodiles or bears.

Like I said Furka, I'd rather kill a deer for food than kill a cougar for fun

Ok, everyone has their opinion, and were all good so let's not argue anymore.

I was just pointing out that saying chimps kill their preys humanely just because they have tools isn't true as a statement, but then many animal kills aren't "humane".

that said, I too would rather kill a deer for food and the fun of hunting it rather than a cougar, but I would understand the guy who hunts them for a logical reason.

"We're all good". It still seems you are seeing the one side out of the other.

I'm trying to prevent an argument from happening.
