I like both of the domesticated carnivorans, but I'd say I like dogs more, simply because I've grown up with them. And bassets are the best things ever. |

I prefer cats too They take up less space in a freezer than average dog!Currently I have 5 of them, all rescued from being dumped by vets after being euthanized. 1 exotic shorthair and 4 mongrels... frozen)) It's better to become a specimen than ashes. ... like a male cat (if your cat is a female) and then they do something an dthen you will end up having six more cats in you house...... Well, dogs may be a little pushy at times, but cats are very calm and they need less care, but I prefer dogs over cats at most times, but sometimes (when the street dogs chase me) I think that cats are the best animals as pets. Confused Psychology.

In general, dogs are for active people... well, except lazy breeds such as English Bulldog or Shar Pei. |

But there is a Bulldog who love skateboarding! ![]() I love small breeds of dog with fluffy coat such as Shetland Sheepdog, Bichon frise, and Lhasa apso. Don't know why. Maybe just the factor about cuteness and space need. |

Hunting dogs are the best. The bond you develop with them, I don't even have words for that. |

If you have a female cat who is allowed outside, it's really important to spay her but it's as important to neuter your male cat as well, he is also part of the problem. I volunteer at a cat shelter, and I see to many homeless females who has had litters thanks to non neutered male cats

The best way to not get your heart broken, is pretending you don't have one.

Around here we only have to worry about coyotes, raccoons, and the ugly opossum. Oh, and don't forget about wild dogs and dumped dogs. We could never keep chickens due to these little Pests, Coyotes are of course brought up to Indiana from our Idiotic "conversation" officers when all they due is kill off pets because out in the country, almost everyone has a cat. Then wild dogs should be put down because they are a hazard to the public, one attacked my dad while he was mowing last fall. raccoons and opossums are the only natural pest that could kill off a dog or cat in east central Indiana. |

are coyotes native in Indiana ? if so, if a cat dies it's fault of the owner who lets it go outside despite knowing the dangers. it's like letting kids play near a road without supervision. |

Agree with Furka. You can't blame Coyote or any predators that eat your pet. It's you that don't take a supervision. They just hunt to full fill their hunger. Remember that it's the wild animals that is the local resident and have been there before we humans move in. Btw, how can a raccoon and opossum kill dog? (Don't count passing rabies.) |
